Architecture for Ambition. Systems for Execution.

Most people see the problem. Very few see the system that produced it. We do.

The RMMR Strategies Perspective

Navigating the fault lines between science, policy, and strategic investment across geographies and institutions, turning structural tensions into conditions for enduring change.

Strategy is a
spatial discipline.

What We Do

We create the conditions for lasting change.
By enabling.

The most intractable problems are rarely technical; they are structural and human: silos that have calcified, stakeholders who have stopped hearing each other, systems that have optimized for the wrong thing for so long that no one inside them can see it anymore.

RMMR Strategies works with the underlying structure: the relationships, incentives, flows, and institutional conditions that determine whether ambition moves into execution. We understand each stakeholder's language, identify what keeps them apart, and create the architecture through which they can own the solution. Because lasting change belongs to the system.

Our Clients

RMMR Strategies helps governments, universities, companies, and foundations solve institutional challenges where research, innovation, policy, partnerships, and strategic investment intersect.

01

The Stuck Institution

The mandate is clear. The resources exist. The will is there. And yet nothing moves. Usually because the blockage is invisible from inside, embedded in how stakeholders relate to each other, how authority is distributed, or how the problem has been framed. We find it, reframe it, and remove it, enabling and empowering those involved along the way.

02

The Initiative Too Bold for Conventional Partners

The vision is right. The moment is right. What doesn't exist yet is the architecture that makes it legible, fundable, and actionable for the institutions best positioned to advance it. We build that architecture: the frameworks, the partnerships, and the language that allow bold ideas to move through established systems without losing what makes them bold.

03

The Initiative Living in White Space

The work sits at the intersection of government and industry, science and policy, science and real-world application, local context and global ambition. No single institutional home. No obvious pathway. This is where we are most at home, fluent in all of those languages and captured by none.

Operating Model

Tactically precise. Strategically patient.
Always from behind the visible line.

We read the room before we enter it

Because the intervention that works is the one designed for the actual system, not a generic version of it.

We communicate to move, not to impress

Because the shift happens when stakeholders are provided with the architecture and clarity to take the next step.

We design for ownership, not dependency

Because transformational change requires that the people inside the system are equipped and own the solution. Not us.

Transformation happens after us.
That is the design.

Scientific rigor. Systems vision. Strategic precision.

Principal & Founder

I learned to spell the world by drawing it, and to read it by crossing every fault line I was quietly noticing. I have never been able to see a fragment without seeing the system it belongs to, or a barrier without seeing what lies on the other side.

A physicist and computational seismologist by training, I later pursued graduate studies in architecture, urban systems and sustainable design, because real progress does not respect disciplinary boundaries.

Over three decades, I have moved intentionally across academia, government, industry, and philanthropy, and across disciplines and geographies that rarely intersect. I have learned these domains from within, developing depth while carrying what I learned across boundaries and into the next challenge. The result is a transdisciplinary lens that allows me to see the integrity of the parts as well as the relationships that determine how the whole performs.

The question has never changed: who is the system failing, and what would it take to redesign it so it doesn’t? My work combines scientific rigor, systems thinking, and strategic design to reveal structural friction, challenge inherited assumptions, and create the conditions for more resilient and enduring systems.
